When AI Does More, What Should Humans Do?
The question I think leaders should be asking now.

1. What Humans Should Do Differently
We spend a lot of time asking what AI can do.
I think we should spend more time asking what humans should do differently because AI can do those things.
If AI can analyse faster, perhaps humans should spend more time interpreting.
If AI can generate content, perhaps humans should spend more time creating meaning.
If AI can automate repetitive decisions, perhaps leaders should focus more on the decisions that require judgement, empathy and context.
2. Redesigning Work Around Strengths
This isn't about humans competing with machines. It is about redesigning work around what each is good at.
The danger is that we introduce AI into yesterday's operating model and expect tomorrow's results. That rarely works.
The opportunity is much bigger: redesign the work itself.
3. Human Capability Amplified by AI
For me, the future isn't human versus AI.
It is human capability amplified by AI.
That distinction will shape how successful organisations adopt the technology.
The question I think leaders should be asking now.
